Census Data Fact Sheets for Pennsylvania Counties

The State of the Child county fact sheets offer a look at life for children in every Pennsylvania county. With selected Census 2000 findings and summaries of the data's significance, the county-level fact sheets show the need for policies that improve children's well-being. Currently available: Demographics and Diversity, including basic demographics, racial and ethnic diversity, and English proficiency by county. Coming up: Child poverty, posted in September 2003; family employment, October; living arrangements and housing, November. (research citations)
